Program Description This fast-paced course preparation tool for both the hardware and software CompTIA A+ certification exams. Successful completion of this course will enable students to perform basic PC maintenance, install and configure operating systems, perform software and hardware upgrades, and basic troubleshooting. Prerequisite: Must have keyboarding and mousing skills, know hoe to properly power up and shut down a computer, experience using Windows and basic knowledge of computer hardware and software. The A+ Exam Prep course not only prepares the participant to sit for the CompTIA A+ certification exam but also for entry-level employment as microcomputer technicians, helpdesk support. Participants will learn how to maintain, repair, and manage desktop PCs.
